ActFas Pty Ltd has successfully won some community grants to provide free CPR training to the community. ActFas would kindly like to thank Port Pirie Regional Council and Masonic Charity for the grants. This page will be updated regularly for time and place for the course, however only eligible participants can apply for the course. Please see the criteria below:
Assessment Criteria:
- Must be able to complete pre-course work (2hour)
- Must have access to a computer or mobile phone to complete the pre-course work
- Pre-course work must be completed before the face-to face session
- Participants must be able to kneel on the floor to complete 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR
This course is provided to help people in need:
- Unemployed
- Looking for work
- Single parent
- Low-income earner
- Volunteers in the community
- Retired

This is a nationally recognised course. Participants will receive a certificate on completion. The Certificate is HLTAID009 – Provide CPR. Participants will also have the opportunity to also upgrade their certificate to HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid for $100 at their own cost.
The courses will be conducted in different regional communities in SA and NT.
