TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Invoicing

Invoices will be issued prior to any training.  You will be required to rebook your training for another day if the invoice has not been paid prior to training.

If accounts are not paid by the due date a 10% administration fee (weekly) will be added to your account (this applies to all accounts).

Confirmation of Booking

In the case of group or corporate bookings, a signed Group Booking form is required prior to dispatch of pre-course materials, payment of Group or Corporate Bookings are arranged with ActFas Pty Ltd. Participant’s certificates will not be issued until full payment has been received.

First Aid Courses

Upon confirming your booking for a First Aid course, you will take responsibility for ensuring you have completed the online enrolment (that has been emailed to you), USI Numbers MUST be included when completing your enrolment. If you require a wallet card the appropriate fees will be charged.

The workbook is to be returned to and received by ActFas Pty Ltd for marking (if the hard-copy version is completed) before or on the day of training.

If the workbook is being completed online, an ActFas Pty Ltd employee will check prior to the training to ensure that all workbooks have been completed.

If you have not completed the workbook by the training day, a $20.00 late processing fee will be levied 2 days post-training. It is NOT appropriate to attempt to complete your workbook during the training session.

Cancellations / Refunds

ActFas Pty Ltd applies a non-refundable course processing fee of 20% to all courses if canceled by the participant within 7 days of the course date. Where pre-course materials have been provided, the relevant ‘student pack’ fee will be charged over and above the 20% non-refundable course processing fee.

ActFas Pty Ltd understands that sometimes situations arise and you are forced to cancel within the 7 days if you book a new course at the time of cancellation no penalties will be applied. If for any reason you are unable to attend the course, please ensure you advise ActFas Pty Ltd as soon as possible.

If ActFas Pty Ltd cancels a training course, participants are entitled to a full refund or transfer of fees to a future training course.

PRODUCT/SALES INFORMATION

Delivery

We undertake to dispatch your order the same day *if the order is placed before 10:00 am*. We use Australia Post or their agents for deliveries throughout Australia, postage costs are the customers’ responsibility and will be shown on the invoice.  Goods will be delivered Monday to Friday. Deliveries can take between 5 to 10 working days due to the Australia Post schedules. A signature will be required at the delivery address when receiving goods unless delivered to a post office box.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Returned Goods and Claims Procedure

The following procedure in respect of returning goods and making claims in conjunction with any alleged breach of any express or implied term, condition or warranty of this contract is designed to facilitate prompt handling of customer claims and to enable both ActFas and the customer to mitigate any loss which either may suffer as a result of the alleged breach, the customer shall notify ActFas in writing within 7 days.

We do not refund for change of mind, however, At ActFas’s discretion, goods (other than medical products) incorrectly ordered by the customer may be returned for exchange, they must be returned in a saleable condition within 7 days at the customer’s expense prior to the exchange of goods. No returns will be accepted after 7 days.

The customer shall notify ActFas of the customer’s intention to return any product prior to its return. Please quote the invoice number. Actas will notify the customer of arrangements for the inspection of the product prior to its return or of arrangements for its return, such return being at the expense of the customer.
